Our services were interrupted on 2/27/24 for a few hours. Things are back in order, but here's some details to what happened.
RemoteWinBox contributes to WISPA donation to support fight against Breast Cancer
WISPA has held several online charity auctions during WISPA events to help raise money for community members in need. This year at WISPAmerica, a charity auction was created for the photographer of WISPA, Sheryl Watson. She was recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
Sheryl is a mother of two teenage daughters, runs a full-time business as a photographer, and also works at a local restaurant in Bentonville, AK. To say she is hardworking is an understatement. You can see her talent and hard work in her portfolio on her website:
The charity auction is made up of all WISPA members and their generosity. Bidders can bid on items varying from gift cards, to radios, to software deployments. To help support her fight, WISPA donates all the money raised from the online auction.
When RemoteWinBox was asked to donate to the cause, we unanimously agreed to submit our most recent product, an Admiral, valued at $4,900 for the auction.
After the completion of the show, our product’s bid was $2,111.50 from TekWav.
TekWav is a locally owned and operated Internet Service Provider based in Sherman, Texas.
By the end of WISPAmerica, there was over $12,000 to donate to Sheryl.
RemoteWinBox is proud to be a part of such a supportive community that finds ways to help those in need.
