Yesterday evening, at around 7 pm EST, Admiral Cloud Services experienced an unexpected downtime due to a power outage at our Atlanta data center. This incident was compounded by a simultaneous failure of the datacenter backup generators and phone lines, resulting in an extended service interruption.
The datacenter promptly engaged with the power vendor to address the issue. Through their swift and efficient efforts, we were pleased to report that all services were fully restored by 11 pm. We understand the critical importance of uninterrupted service and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our valued customers.
In response to this incident, the datacenter is undertaking comprehensive repairs and enhancements to the backup generators. This proactive measure is aimed at reinforcing their infrastructure to better withstand future power disruptions and ensure the reliability of services.
